How did you decide what membership to assign to existing members? 

Over the past 3.5 years, we’ve come to know our members very well.  As a result, we recognize that Eden Membership can not be determined from any one factor.  Instead, Eden membership is based on a number of factors combined to create an overall “membership score”.  Similar to applying for citizenship in a foreign country, you answer a number of critical questions.  Responses are scored and tallied and if you hit the threshold, membership is attained.

What membership do I now hold?

If you are still able to log in to the Eden site, then you hold two memberships.  One for Eden and one for Allure.

If you are no longer able to login to the Eden site, then at the very least, you hold a membership to Allure and your Eden membership is pending approval.  To apply for your Eden membership under the new “application based process”, complete the application form now.  Be sure to enter your Eden email addy on the form to have your application attached to your existing profile. No fee will be charged for re-application.

Applications will be reviewed and responded to in a timely fashion and you will receive a notification with the decision in the next day or two.  Please ensure you have [email protected] in your email address book to ensure receipt of your notification.

What if my Eden membership is not approved under the new process?

All memberships that are not approved under the new application based process will be receiving a $50 gift certificate and complimentary one year membership to Allure (on top of any time you currently have remaining) as thanks for your support.  You will be sent this as an email notification once we have had a chance to review your application.

Why did you transfer all memberships over to Allure instead of simply opening up a new exclusive club?

We made the decision to transfer all memberships over to Allure simply because we had already invested thousands of dollars into making the Eden Website and brand look and feel like a nightclub style environment with a sexy twist.  In short, we felt that the look and feel of the current Eden website was a better match to the vision of a nightclub style environment with a sexy twist.  We felt the Allure website was best suited to represent a social club for swingers and sophisticated couples in long term, secure relationships.

Why did you feel the need to create an exclusive club?

In order to meet the needs of two very distinct markets, we felt we were faced with some difficult choices.  Over the past 3.5 years, we have learned that trying to blend two distinct crowds in an erotic environment is like mixing oil and water together.  Not only do we lose our more mature and sophisticated couple, but we also lose 10 of from “alternative” nightclub style crowd looking for a sexy adventure.  If we simply changed the music style and the nightclub style environment to meet the needs of one market, we risked alienating our “Alternative Club-Goer” demographic.  While continuing to play the nightclub style music, focusing on throwing “one hell of a sexy party”, and going exclusive with a “guaranteed nightclub style crowd” at every event would have completely alienated many of our experienced swingers, our mature members and sophisticated couples in secure relationships.  Offering two distinct clubs enables us to meet the needs of both.

I feel I’m a better fit for Eden Events but did not receive an invitation email for the New “Eden Millennium Social Club”.  What do I do now?

I think I’m a better fit for Allure Events but received the invitation for Eden.  Can I switch my membership over to Allure?

Actually, there’s no need to transfer your membership to Allure.  Everyone who was a member of Eden prior to the announcement received complimentary membership to Allure under their existing Eden membership terms.  You can begin enjoying all the benefits of Allure immediately.  

What happened to my online profile and email messages?

Just like the memberships, all profiles and login details have been duplicated in the Allure site.  You can login to your profile at any time to make updates or deletions.  However, if you received membership approval to the new “Eden Millennium Club”, all your profile details remained in tact on the new Eden site.
